2E0HPJ- Yaesu FT-857, Full Size G5RV, First contest - great fun.
Surprised with results from 50W and G5RV

5B4AFM- Great contest! Could only play for the first couple of hours.

5P0O- There are so many stations with the callsign "QRZ"...
Many stations do not know that a call starting with
a number (in prefix) also has a number in the suffix.
There will probaby be some that logged "5pko" ;-)

7K1CPT- Rig: K2 Elecraft Power: 5-Watts, Ant: Dipole 10mh
QRV on the riverbank. Built dipole antenna. Satuday was thunder came to Kantou area. Sunday I will go to QRV for IOTA contest.

7N2UQC- I was able to enjoy this contest. Tnx for a fine contest again. Rig:IC-7600, ANT:Dipole

9A/S56A- Phone QSO 443 - 484 for log check purpose only as I filled 1 hour of spare time. Saint Nicolas island, CI-118 across the city of Porec in Istria. TS-480 + windom.

9A/S57UN- Nice contest see next year.

9A1CKL- This was our second time on Zirje island. Last year we had too much of Murphy's help and our score was quite low. This time Murphy was too busy somewhere else and it paid off in our score. Conditions were very good and we managed lot of
QSOs and multis. Our main problem was that we were too weak on 20m SSB and we couldn't sustain any longer pileups. We needed at least 100 more QSOs on 20 SSB. 80 meters was very noisy and our multi totals on 80 were too low. Well be
back next year! CU in the contests!

9A4WY- many new IOTA-s....GOOD CONTEST

9A5ADT- First time in IOTA contest, abt 6 hours of great fun...tnx all for QSO !

9M2/KM9D- Our first participation since 2007; regret having
missed the challenging fun.

A65CA- Hello IOTA chasers and activators! Thanks for nice competition and chance to work new ones. As Saturday and Sunday are working days in UAE I had limited time to run pile up and fight in it at working hours. GL to all participants and see you next year in the great IOTA contest, 73!

AA4V- What fun.....

AD5WB- Great contest as always. Static on 40 made it real rough as usual. RFI on 40 meter receive antenna made it unusable. All in all a typical and fun IOTA contest. Sorry if I could not hear you through the s8 - s9 static! 73, Leslie

BY4DX/5- 2nd times for AS-137 and wish we can get the 2nd times award.

CR5B- Glad to participate in another IOTA Contest, after activation fo AF-047, AF-046,EU -167 now EU-040

CR6R- Pictures of the activity during the IOTA Contest can be seen on the link: http://www.rep.pt/ct1ilt/cr6r.php

CT7ACG- Check log entry only! Only managed a couple of hours this time round and no island to go to either! Interesting EA contest going on Sunday morning caused problems for me here in the Algarve on 40m. Thanks all for working me. Rig FT2000, Amp SPE Expert 1KFA, 400watts and 3 el yagi on 20,15 and 10m Vertical on 40m.

CU/PA1B- Had great fun with QRP in the IOTA contest during our holiday on the Azores. We were on the island Terceira - EU-175 - Locator: HM68JP. I took my lightweight QRP station with me in the suitcase. Station: FT-817 with homebrew paddle and tuner. Ant: 20 mtr wire
Number of QSOs with: 2.7W (42), 1,8W (2), 0.8W (5) and 0.4W (1)
Thank you for the fine contest.

CX2DK- Nice contest, very happy with my performance! 73`s

DJ3JD- First time of participation! Next time again!

DJ6TK- Hi, great fun again but I had only few hours time to take part. 73 and good luck from Northern Germany close to the border of Denmark. 73, Wilf - dj6tk -

DK0AE- I found only some minutes to activate the clubstation. Next year more. 73 OP DJ1AA @ DK0AE

DK0MM- Double points compared with last year in good conditions.

DK4WF- Sorry, I had not much time this weekend, because I was looking for ST0R. It was a very hard job to work this expedition with low power. I hope I have more time in the next year. vy 73 es best DX de Ben DK4WF

DK5FT- Hi there, very fine contest, thank you all. Frank DK5FT

DK8NT- A disastrous start was finally compensated by my best IOTA score so far. Again non-assisted, SP only, 100 W, and multi-folded windom, for the first time assisted by a 15 m triple leg. It did work, but not wonders. I missed many well-known IOTAs, Caribbean and Asia almost silent, and nothing on 160 m, but it took only a minute until I knew why ;-) Anyway, I wasnt bored; 10 and 15 m were very quirky at times; and maybe the biggest success, after (too) many calls, was breaking the ZD8D pileup - thanks, guys, over there!

DL1DF- nice Contest. cu in 2012

DL2DHS- Giving a few QSO points just for fun, from Ruegen Island

DL2KDW- Yaesu FT-817, 20 meter wire end-fed. Fine contest, many stations participating, but could only be QRV on Saturday.

DL2RZG- nice contest - great activity- conds ok

DL2SWW- IC-756PROIII. Windom. Contesting at home but next year from island again.

DL4MCF- This year I only had time for a 12-hour-activity, but I had a lot of fun anyway. Tnx to all island-stations - great activity - cu next year - 73, Tom

DL5ARI- Great Contest in QRP, thank You!

DL5CL- Tried to find out how good is the new TEN TEC Eagle...itīs very good !

DL5KUD- DL5KUD EU-057 RUEGEN ISLAND RESIDENT. RIG: ICOM-7400 80WATTS, DIPOLE UP 10M. POOR PROPAGATION AT EVENING, BETTER ON SUNDAY. 73 THANKS FOR PICKING UP = JO.

DL6ABB- I worked my QRP Kit Blue Cool Radio running 5 Watt into a Double Zep

DL6MHW- Strong rain and wind during setup. So I operated only with Butternut HF-6-Vertical. No opening on 10 or 15 from northern germany. See you next year from EU-???

DL7UGO- bad condx, rain rain rain in north-east of Germany

DL7VRG- Nice contest, but not enought time because problems from rain !

DL8DZL- FT 1000 Mark V, Dipole/Vertical/L-Antenna. Every year an interesting experience but this year what a pity zls and poor condx frequently nevertheless nice contacts with good operators/teams

DL8RB- only for a short time (2h) but with fun

DL8RL- FT 1000 Mark V, Dipole/Vertical/L-Antenna, I enjoyed using SDI in this contest but unfortunately is it not free since 2011.

DL9DAN- I deeply regret to notice, that there are some stations on the band calling for IOTA ONLY! This is not fair except these stations want to run the IOTA as islands only contest.

DM1TT- Just picking up the cherries this time owing to other activities during the contest weekend.

DM3XI- TNX NEW ISLANDS!

DS0DX/2- Operated from the car with continuous torrential rain falling.

DV1/JO7KMB- QRV from Makati city, Metro Manila, Philippines

E73X- Yaesu FT-600, dipole. I worked about 90 QSO before My PC down.
In LOG was left 77 QSO only. I'm sorry. Vy 73

EA1CBX- THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE NICE TEST, I AM MEMBER OF AN1C,IN EU-080. IN THIS CONTEST MY OPERATION WAS IN MY SHACK, NEAR VIGO AIRPORT, NO IOTA OPERATION. I HOPE IN THE NEXT YEAR 2012 , THE ACTIVATION THE CIES ISLAND EU-080. 73 DE JOSE .SEE YOU SOON.

EA5GVZ/P- IOTA this year only 3 hours for me: from sunshine till sun became too hot. IC-703 @ 5W, PAC-12 vertical portable antenna- and a towel on the sand.

EA6ZS- FT857, Butternut HF9V, Mni tnx fer test. 2012 agn

EA8CNR- Although propagation was bad, I had a great time during the IOTA contest.Thank you very much everyone, hope to hear next year, health and good DXs.

EF5Y- See you at the next event.

EG1URE- Than you all for the QSO. Beautiful place for an amazing contest. Hear you next year!

EI2KA- IC-7000, SteppIR 3-ele, Carolina Windom 160, Hustler 6BTV
Condx poor--few contacts outside EU. Heard many stations
working outside permitted band limits--why bother with rules
if many ignore them and aren't penalized? SD logger again
worked a treat but I managed to log wrong band on some QSOs.
Best contest going--thanks RSGB IOTA.

EI8GQB- My score is the result of having defined before the contest the good strategy, mainly, call on frequencies where I could reach UK and I called a lot on 40m band with an inverted V dipole. Starting with SO2R, I was able to hunt multipliers during low answer rate period. I also built a 10 elements 20m inverted V wirebeam in direction to North America, expecting the opening between 1 and 4 am I lived during the week before the contest, it never happened and I haven't take benefit of this effort. Thanks to SO2R I was also able to scan any possible 10m openings which happened Sunday 2 hours before the end of the contest, it helped me to stay awake as I operated non stop the 24 hours of the contest. See you next year with a 3 elements wirebeam on 40m for sure. 73 from Olivier EI8GQB/ON4EI.

EJ2KF- Only a few QSOs - location and power needs to be improved.
Valley with openings to N and S only. FT-817 with MP-1 (extended whip 3m). Pout =2.5-5W HAM CAP in use. All QSOs within the first hop (from 2000-3000km), except one QSO on second hop (around 6000km).

Thanks for all that listened to my weak signals.
However many stations coming in with 59+++ but not listening.

Next time with a 100W TRX :-)

ER2RM- TNX for FB CONTEST !

ES4GP- 73! to all IOTA friends.

F/G4BJM/P- K2/100, Inv Vee doublet on beach. Good fun, I sat outside on the beach all night and saw a fantastic sun rise over the sea.
I Spent very little time mult chasing, so plenty of room for improvement. Used SD.

F1VNR- ts590, carolina windom. Hard work with 100 watts but great fun

F4ASK- Sorry for the short time but family need me. In 2012, Ill be sure in the contest during 24 hours.

F4FVI/P- Kenwood TS-570DG, Long wires of 20 and 40 meters long. Very nice IOTA Contest in /P

F4GCU- It was very nice!!! 73

F8NUH- See you next year !! F8NUH : Jean-Pierre

F9KP- TS 850 S 100W. 15M L.W. ON BALCONY. VERY ENJOYED BY THIS FAMOUS RSGB CONTEST. MANY STATIONS ON THE AIR. GENERALLY HAM SPIRIT FOR ALL BUT ANY STN USING QRM FOR KEEP THE QRG AND SOME STN NOT GIVING CALLSIGN AFTER SEVERAL QSO. BEST REGARDS FOR ALL ET 73 QRO FOR RSGB MANAGER. HOPE QRV NEXT YEAR ! FRIENDLY PAUL

FP/K9OT- Vertical wires on the Atlantic Ocean worked great again this year!

FR1EU- First attempt in a contest

G0CER- missed out on overnight time - should have done better on LF. Will be back again next year though...

G0FPU- ICOM IC-718, 1/2 SIZE G5RV. Used SD no problem. Good contest. only made a few calls

G0HVQ- Just playing and making a few QSOs, weather too good to do a full contest!

G0IBN- Enjoyed the pile-up but not fighting for the multipliers.

G0PBV- Yaesu FT-840, Cushcraft R6000 Half Size G5RV 20m End Fed.
Band Conditions seemed better this year. Thanks to EI5DI for the SDI program.

G0PSE/P- Icom IC756PRO2, Carolina Windom, I particularly enjoy this 12 (out of 24) hours contest. Conditions were better than the previous few years. QSOs with OC and SA islands. The latest version of SD was a great success.

G0RPM- Fun, although conditions were poor this year. Not much DX but 9 new IOTA islands added to the worked list.

G0TSM- My best IOTA contest score ever. This time I stayed at home and used my usual station as I was unable to go out and play. Station FTDX5000MP+VL1000 10/15/20M Hexbeam@14M and 40/80M Windom@17M. Three sessions were fitted in around the busy family so 12 hours was perfect for me.

G0VAX- Started late due to family commitments. Opted to do the 12-Hour Single
Op. section (Low Power)
Conditions where not the best this year, plus I seem to have a fault on my antenna.

G0VOK- Kenwood TS-570DGE, 30m long Doublet at 6m AGL. Great fun as always

G1T- We had a great time this weekend although it seemed there was less participation than normal. I don't know whether it's just us or conditions but in general it seems that there is a real improvement in contest operating and contest stations in general. We noticed very few of the usual overdriven stations and poor audio that were once prevalent?

G2HDR- Yaesu FT-2000, 1/2 G5RV and Multiband Vertical. Enjoyable event. Used SD for logging, it worked faultlessly

G2R- Just a little outing at the club to show some ops what contesting was all about and hopefully enthuse them to have a go at contsting themselves..so on this occasion its just a checklog. 73 PAul G0WAT

G3LHJ- YAESU FT 990 - 100Wts, Mosley TA33Jr 3El Tribander - 80/40M Loaded Dipole. Most enjoyable contest great to have all bands active, 20M was a bit iffy early Sunday am but
picked up mid morning, would have liked to have worked
more Islands, but I guess I enjoyed the Running more,
condx were pretty good, better than last year.

G3NKC- Had intended only for a bit of a play; maybe in the 12 hour section. Looks like I overstayed that section, just !!

G3PJT- Tried to work island stations only as not able to do the full 24 hrs. Good contest - thanks to the organisers and all of the travellers to islands - hope you all had a great time!

G3TTC- FT1000MP, trap vertical trap dipole. As usual it was nice to bag 3 or 4 new IOTAs, now have to wait for QSL cards to arrive.

G3VDB- Even southern Europe seemed hard work!

G3VMW- One 12 hour stretch no breaks - great fun and enjoyed the mixed mode option. Rig was FTDX5000D Acom 2000A amplifier with a Hexbeam and 130ft doublet on LF.

G3YMC- Conditions very lacklustre here so only a small entry. 73 Dave

G3ZQH- First IOTA contest, most enjoyable. Mults hard to come by with 100W and without cluster, but great to have good openings on 15 and 10m.

G4ALE/P- Station located on cliff-edge (up 25metres)near Brighstone, Isle of Wight. FTDX-5000 @ 100W; Hustler 6BTV vertical + Inverted Vees for 80m 40m. Our first attempt at IOTA dx-peditioning - lot to learn about low-power operation!

G4AZB/M- LOTS OF FIXED QRO EU STATIONS

G4BYG- I realy enjoyed the 12hrs with QSOs never too far away.
Band conditions were only fair with some 10m activity for a change. Very pleased to say that operating standards were extremly high and it was a pleasure to be away from DQRM.
Used K3 tranceiver with 100watts into 102ft Doublet @ 55ft inv vee style.Fed into an AT200 auto atu in garage for quick band changes. WinKeyer USB keyer. 3.5ghz pc with dual monitors. Went Assisted this time as used RBN Network (Filtered for UK Spotters). Made a nice change to get relativley local spots to add to the fun. Did try plenty of Search and Pounce with hardly any Run activity. Only gripe was not being able to use 80m because of local qrm from many of the local consumer electronic devices. Its just impossible to locate the multitude of noise sources at this qth these days. Sign of the times am afraid. Not to worry as will be back next time.

G4DBW- Invested in a 15m fibre glass pole this year and put my doublet dipole up as an inverted vee. Seemed to work well on 7MHz where I ran a QRP pile up for 2 hours. Great fun.
The challenge was then to SP the mults to pick up a decent score.

Not sure I will ever try QRP SSB again for a mixed mode entry. Hard work and a sore throat.

G4DDL- FTDX5000, 30m Longwire 30m Loop, Condx on 15m and 10m disappointing. Despite that my best score yet
Some stations failed to send /p or IOTA REF for every
QSO! Wasted some time confirming their correct data.
Lots of fun, see you all next year.

G4FFN- FT2000, G5RV Cobweb Dipole for 10 15 20m. Conditions not great but better than last year

G4FYH- FT-2000, Off-centre fed dipole. The following quote sums up the weekend - Nick 2E0NFS "French Polynesia - Where the f***s that? (We wish! Actually St.Pierre Miquelon - made everyone howl)"

G4LWB- ICOM 756PRO, INVERTED V DOUBLET (ZS6BKW TYPE), POOR CONDITIONS DEEP QSB AT TIMES

G4MFX- My first contest (of any kind) ever. I don't expect to win but what a way to fill your boots full of islands. This should increase my island count from the current 77 to 107.

G4PIQ- Usual problems with not much time available and lots of dropping in and out of the shack to deal with other stuff.
K3/100 + PA. 400W. 80/40/20m Dipoles @ 20m

G4TPH- The first time I entered the IOTA contest. I found it fantastic and will be entering every year.

G4VMX- FT2000, 3 Ele SteppIR DB11, SDI is good and easy to use.

G4VPD- ft2000, hex. Struggle with qrp

G4XPE- IC-7200, HF5 trap vertical ground mounted + trap dipole inverted vee apex 3.8 mtrs agl. Cannot understand why non-islands can work non-islands!

G5FZ- Great contest

G5GX/P- MAIN STATION TS590+PA - MULTI STATION TS850. TH5 - 40/80M DELTA LOOP - 40M PHASED VERT - 80 VERT. There is something for everyone in this contest. Condx not as good as we had hoped for. Phased 40m verticals worked a treat.

G5W- Great contest again. LF conditiona less noisy that past years. 10/15 disappointing.

G6CSY- Running QRP 5W from IC-7400 to a trap vertical. Fewer QSO than last year. Very poor conditions on 10m/15m with the SFI @ 113 and A-index @ 11. Managed four new IOTA's, including two from the USA!

G6UBM- ConditionS seemed poor, heard only 1 EJ and very few OC area stations, seemed to be fewer stations on than usual

G7DDN- Icom IC-7200, 230 Doublet at 40ft. First time dabble in this contest. Conditions seemed poor to me. SD was great, as usual!

G7RTI- Yaesu FT-840, 20m end-fed wire with Z11 auto-tuner. Another part-time effort - Saturday went quite well! Used SD as usual - excellent logging software!

G7SKR- Icom IC-7400, 80m OCF Dipole at 8 metres AGL. Generally poor condx. 80m OCF pressed in to service on all bands. SP only no run.

G7VRK- Just giveing a few points and trying Wintest for first time

G8AFN- IC7000, 30m long wire at 6m, 1/4 wave vert for 40m, V dipole at 10m, great enjoyment, SD did its job very well

G8APB- Great fun at times, and fun to activate so many bands in the period, all gone quiet now though.

G8GHD- FT-847, Folded Doublet in Loft. Avoided stations outside contest frequencies hope these few stations are penalised this year!

G8XTJ- Icom 7000, 7Mhz loop. Condx poorer than last year. Enjoyed searching and pouncing. SDI made it easy to enter

G8ZRE- YAESU FT897, HUSTLER 5 BTV GROUND MOUNTED VERTICAL. Enjoyable contest, search n pounce. Some stations operating outside band plan i.e 14.305 High power French station

GI4AAM- Good contest.

GI9Q- Work meant only a 6hr shot on Saturday night... got a couple of good runs going, but few island stations worked , hence low score

GJ6YB- We operated Expedition style again this year, taking two towers, trailers and cars on the ferry from Weymouth. The weather was super - dry and sunny for the station build on the Thursday and Friday as well as most of the weekend.
The run station was installed in our specially modified caravan and the Mult station in an ex-army tent that was intended to stand up to the severest of gales. That guaranteed that the most we would get was a mild breeze.

Conditions were improved on the HF bands and we were able to maintain good runs to JA and the Pacific on 15m and 20m, which compensated for a lack of sporadic-E to G and EI on 10m this year. 40m was good over night. 10m never really opened.
The mult station worked well giving a steady stream of mults throughout the contest. There was very little interference between the two stations even spaced just 250mtrs apart.

Overall claimed score is up on last year due to higher scores on the HF bands and higher pts per QSO from the runs to JA.

Station equipment and antennas.
Run: FT1000 + TL922 linear
2 x A3s tribander, 40m 2ele Beam, 80m Dipole, 40m and 80m verticals
Mult: FT1000 + TL922 linear
Cushcraft X7, 40m rotatable dipole, 80 Dipole

GM0ADX- Another great IOTA weekend. Bands busy most of the time but not a lot of DX this year.

GM0B- Very late arrival on island on Saturday meant we were only just ready for the off, or thereabouts. Not a big multi-multi, just a little un. Great fun and no rain for a change.
See you next year.

GM1J- Another great weekend. Some very nice WX but also very windy at times! Nice to see 10m open on Sunday morning, lots of Qs but very few mults. Thanks for the Qs and see you all next year from the Summer Isles. Jim, MM0BQI, GM1J, EU092

GM2T- Another fantastic contest. Apart from what I call the normal faults due to putting a station together it all went together with a dream. Part of the team contained 2 brand new operators to contesting. One of them who has not had his licence long we sponsered as a newbie to encourage into contesting. We are hoping to keep this going to sponsor
a person who has had their licence less than a year into contesting. Hospitality on the island was as normal fantastic...and we all came home a few Kgs heavier!!!!!

GM4AGG/P- IOTA DXpedition by West of Scotland ARS, in association with the GMFF Flora and Fauna award, callsign GM4AGG/P in South Uist, EU010 IOSA 114 GMFF-043 IO67ih NF800387 57 deg 1936N 7 deg 195W Ant delta loop, TRX FT-920.

GM4EMX- FT950, Amertron AL-811H + AT2K Atu, DX 88 Ground Mounted Vertical - T/Dipole 20, 15, 10. Used SD logging again with remote control (ZLP Inter Face). Rushing callsigns again, and having to repeat. DX stns assuming every one was on the Cluster, so did not think they had to send IDs very often. As unassisted this is not good as one had to wait five mins or more for a Stn ID.

GM4FAM- Very little spare time to operate this year. Hope to make a better effort in 2012.

GM4W- COnditions might have been better on some bands and there was the on going problem

GM4WZG- Nice contest. Very enjoyable. Thanks especially to the organisers, the folk who produce the logging software N1MM,
and of course the island activators. Rig TS590s, Ant doublet (one half running across tiled roof of the house).
A struggle to work DX islands but managed a few. Looking forward to next year already.

GM5A- Pity my auto ATU threw a fit in the small hours which curtailed activity on 80 and 40. Also a pity about conditions! Another enjoyable event despite that.

GM7V- Great contest as always. Bands opened to South UK in last 2 hours.

GM7X- I made 100 fewer QSOs than last year, but had a higher score.
It's true -- multipliers and 15-point QSOs are how to win!

GW1PJP- I found the bands very crowded but enjoyed searching for just the Iota contesters

GW4BLE- Just a dabble here and there. Audio from contacts
will be available at: http://www.gw4ble.dxlist.co.uk

GW4EVX- Icom IC-7000, 40m vertical + end fed wire. First time in this contest Felt like a challenge so entered 12H SSB QRP! Used SDI very pleased with it.

GW8K- Great contest all members had fun. We blooded 3 new club members into contesting.

GW9X- Testing antennas. Nice contest, might do it again.

GZ5Y- FT1000mp, 3 ele SteppIR / 40M Vertical, Conditions not the best, SD worked fine

HA2QW- Unfortunately, only a few hours I was able to compete.

HB9MXY- Many thanks to all participants of the Contest! See you all next year. Also many thanks to the organisation of the fine Contest. Conditions on all bands were excellent.

HB9XCL- A wonderful contest, with a new personal record of QSOs. My TS480SAT, the G5RV and the homemade groundplane did a good job! I really enjoyed every minute of my 12 hours! cu next year, 73s de Kurt, HB9XCL

HL5YI- TO DAY IS VY POOR CONDITION .. AM NOT HEARD NORTH. SOUTH AMERICA... HPE CU AGN NEXT CONTEST.. G,L DE HL5YI CHAR 73..

HS0AC- On my holiday in Thailand, worked from the RAST-club stn. in Bangkok. OM Finn, hs/oz1het dropped me off, and I booked a hotel room at the site, so nice weekend, but busy. There were poor cndx to America but it was big fun anyway.

I0ZUT- Also for not dxpedition station is vy beautiful ontest.73,jan I0ZUT

I2WIJ- Just half an hour to say I was there. Bob, I2WIJ

I5JFG- I had a good time using only a Ground Plane. It is one of my favorite Contest 73 Franco I5JFG

I6FDJ- Tnx to all participants. Very nice test. To next year.

IC8WIC- TH7 + 2 el yagi 40m + dipoles. Only few hours operating this year but still good runs. 40 meters best band, only few opening on the other bands you all and see you next year

IF9/IT9BXR- I am very happy for the experince

IH9YMC- As last year, not very good propagation.

IK1QBT- Guest operator from Radio-club ARI BRA (CN), many thanks to President and staff, 73 Tony IK1QBT

IK4AUY- I enjoied the contest very much. Max power 500W, ant 3 el Ultrabeam, rotary dipole for 40m.

IS0B- Big PileUp , Big fun !

IT9/OE5JKL- ICOM IC-9100 2 x 6,5m Dipol like a Sloper 12 -> 4 m Wireman feeder. Very nice Camping place in Fondachello JM77OR. Mount Etna surprised during the contest with a fantastic eruption.
Pictures soon at WWW.QRZ.COM ( OE5JKL )

IT9DFI- It is a funny contest! At the beginning I used the cluster about 2 hours! After I can not use the cluster for problem on my usb internet key...so I continued without cluster! I have take part in the contest just few hours. See you on the next!

IT9EJW/P- This year we plan better the multiplier station.

IT9VDQ- CW pile-up for my very common IOTA EU025 was very funny!

IT9ZSB- YAESU FT-857D, MAGNETIC LOOP (BABY LOOP). My first time in IOTA Contest! nice to work as iota station. I hope to do better next time!

IV3BCA- HELLO, THIS IS MY FIRST PARTECIPATION IOTA CONTEST
TNX ALL. RIG IC 706 100 WATT VERTICAL MULTIBAND ANTENNA 20/15/10. DIPOLE 40 80 METER HOME MADE

IW1QN- IOTA Contest is always a Very Fun Contest. I pass all time to Search Multiplier and I satisfied of my results. Some Problem with CAT.

IW5EFX- Tnx for making QSO with some stations

IW5EFX/5- Little operation on portable with my Dipole Inverted V for 40 meters. Icom IC 7000 no more of 70 Watts.

IW9FRA- Yaesu FT-2000, Optibeam 11-3 and Acom 1000 QRO - Was a pleasure to operate again in this beautiful contest, many friends on air ! 73 de Sal IW9FRA

IZ1MHY- Nice contest but propagation not good in my side. I like hunting Islands on the air. See you next year. 73 de Andrea IZ1MHY

IZ3NVR- Wonderful contest as always....had some problems getting through to some stations but lots of fun indeed. See ya next contest and visit my website: http://digilander.libero.it/iz3nvr

IZ5FSA- Lots of fun!!! Unassisted experience is fascinating... turn tuning knob... and find exotic island reference calling with no takers... is amazing! I've also tried CW for the first time (with little problems with my inexpert fingers) and I've enjoyed it vy much! I haven't analyzed my score and I haven't made considerations about propagation conditions: I've made as much QSOs as I can, having stops for drink, eat, go to toilet ;-) and 2 hours of sleep! I hope I've captured some new reference for my IOTA Award update!

My working conditions were: Elecraft K3 + mK-II + legal limit amplifier + Mosley TA53M (10-20) H.M. vertical UJX (40-80) + QARtest contest logger

Special thanks to: my wife, my children and to Alicia (our family-coffee-machine)

73s de LEo IZ5FSA

IZ8ESX- This is a very nice contest. Few QSO, a lot of fun.
See you next year!

JA1BPA- Propagation was not as good as I had expected, but 15m improved from last year. Occasional heavy local noise caused the slow-down of QSOs.

JA2CUS- Enjoyed very much.Thanks!

JA3AOP- Suddenly just before the contest, my left ear became difficulty in hearing. It was necessary to make my ears rest often. However, I enjoyed this contest. 73.

JA3QOS- My first IOTA-Contest, a lot of fun. My Shack located in KYOTO, and 1 KW into 3el-SteppIR.

JF6WTY- I enjoyed the contest.

JG1BGT- I like QRP.

JG1GCO- I enjoyed the contest.

JG1UKW- I enjoyed the contest.

JG1WCT- I am very happy to have participated in IOTA contest 2011, even just only make several contact, Thanks DE JG1WCT (JA1/YB1FWO)

JG5DHX/5- This was my first time participating. Only a few contacts, but I had a lot of fun. RIG: TS-570MG, PWR: 50watts, ANT: Inv.V

JI1BDQ- I enjoyed the contest. I tried this IOTA TEST first time.

JJ5HUD- I enjoyed very well. I will join next time.

JK8JNH/QRP- I enjoyed the contest.

JP1EWY- I enjoyed the contest.

JQ1QKK- I enjoyed the contest.

JR2AAN/2- I participated at MobileCarShack from Iwakura-city Aichi-pref.
Output power is 20watts and ANT. is 2.1m long mobile whip.

K0AP- This is one of my favorite contests. The SFI before and during the contest was around 110 with K and A indexes low but still the propagation was poor. The signals from Europe were marginal most of the time. I was mostly looking for new IOTAs and indeed managed to work few new ones. It proves one more time that if you can work those new ones before the contest you better do that, otherwise you may never hear them in the contest. Missed a few good ones including RC3W/1 EU-119, HS7AT/p AS-101 etc... but can't blame them for the rather desperate band conditions. Still I had lots of fun as usual and I am already looking forward to the next one in 2012, hopefully with much better propagation. 73, Dragan K0AP, Z32XX

K0BJ- I haven't been on the island side since 2006 -- some chance that will change next year...

K1DM- WHAT A FUN CONTEST!

K3NK- Nice to see all the expedition activity

K3TN- Conditions did not seem great from this end, but always a fun contest.

K4ORD- Great contest, lots of fun. Rig K3@80W ant 40M dipole up 40.
73 Riley K4ORD

K5CVD- Had a great time working all those IOTA stations. Cannot wait until next year!

K5ZD- Nice conditions!

K6CSL- Very disappointing. Conditions not good, considering the solar data. 10M or 15M never opened here. Very difficult for 100W and simple wire, stealth antennas. I live in a mobile home park that allows no visible antennas. Bert, K6CSL

K6UD- Enjoyed it! Other club members will join next year for sure!

K7ABV- not much time to work...thanks for a good time..

K7JKM- FT950. LONG WIRE. First timer see you next year

K9NW- Thanks to all the island DXpeditioners!!

K9QJS- This is the first contest I have ever entered. I hope to learn the process. Im a new ham and was able to get my father's call. 73, Hoop K9QJS

KB8KE- FT-857, TH6DXX - HV9, band condx not great - first time using SD - I like it. Easy to use

KB9IIZ- Once a year is not enough. It is winter during the contest in the southern hemisphere.

KB9O- My first IOTA contest; hope to be in more of them.

KC0DEB- Thank You to all the Ops who took the time and effort to activate the uncommon IOTAs, and made this contest what it is : GREAT!

KD7H- This is my favorite contest, but I didn't have much time to
participate this year.

KJ3L- FT-2000, 3 el yagi and 43vertical. First contest for me and did not know what to expect. Band condx were poor. Never heard a peep on 10m and QRN was high on all bands. EU stations were much weaker than usual. Overall had fun and learned a little more. Always great to work a new one!

KJ6PVA- My First Contest thank for the fun...

KP4JRS- I had a great time using for the first time my new SteppIR antenna in this kind of contest.

KR9E- Thanks for letting me participate. Didn't have a lot of time this year, but still had fun.

KT8K- Glad the solar flux rose over 100 for a bit - it made for still-muffled but better propagation on 15 and 20m. I could only spend a few minutes here and there on the air - total on-time 32 minutes according to N1MM - but it was still fun. Next year maybe I can make a dedicated effort. I doubt I'll have that big tower I want, though -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNWZjzrzgwA Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy my ham radio blues.

LA5HE- It would be nice if callers wait until a QSO is finished !

LA8OM- Radio: K3, Expert 1K-FA amp, Antennas: Dipole (80, 40), 2 el UltraBeam and Verticals (20, 15, 10). After failing to find a suitable island location for the IOTA contest in 2010, the scouting started earlier this year and was rewarded with a beautiful place on the island of Finnoy. Enjoyed having antennas overlooking the sea! As usual the logging was done with SD.

LA9RY- Had to go to work Sunday, so I had to choose 12 hours category. Achieved almost same score as in 2003, but then I worked 24 hours. Using N1MM for logging helps a lot. Plenty of activity and never quiet hours.

LB9RE- Short participation this time due to social activities at our summer home.

LU1FL- My first entry in this contest. Very happy to do it. Congratulations.

LU2UF- My first IOTA from my home, I enjoyed too much. See you next year.

LU4MHQ- Yaesu FT 747 GX
Dipole
GREAT CONTEST YEAR BY YEAR
SUPER DUPER WAS A GREAT SUPPORT - THE BEST

LU5CAB- The propagatin with Argentina is vy bad. Not problem ist the game..

LY/SP4Z- Operation ocasionally from Hamfest Lithuania 2011. We were camped in tents near City of Klajpeda in QTH Gargzdai. I am happy to QRV in this really Summer HF Contest!

LZ1PJ- I had fun as always in IOTA contest. Very good conditions on Saturday, much worse on Sunday. I had 75% of last years QSO number only during first 12 hours, and hardly managed to improve my score the second day, making finally just a few contacts more than last year. Anyway my multipliers were more and final score too. Already looking for next year's contest. My equipment: Kenwood TS-850S/AT 100w barefoot. Multiband Dunax GP (7-14-21-28 MHz), which observed problems on 40 ans 20m, but there was no time to fix it. No antenna and no operation on 80m band. N1MM-logger. Two cups of coffee and a few beers. GL to all.

M0BGR/P- Backpack DXpedition to Isle of Wight.FT-817 (5 Watts) and vertical dipoles for 15m and 20m. Conditions poor on 15m and I should have changed to 20m much earlier.Tks for those with
patients to work me. 73 Dave. http://m0bgr.blogspot.com

M0CNP- Yaesu FT-920, TGM MQ26SR and 135 ft off centre fed dipole. Conditions were very difficult with no openings to the Pacific area and precious few to the Caribbean and Americas. Just one of those things!

M0JBA- Thanks for all your patience for the contacts with my QRP station. Also thanks to the organisers again.

M0MCV- Very enjoyable after a slow start. Pleasing to get more Qs and mults than last year.

M0NQN- Yaesu FT-950, Doublet (bent!). Not the best of condx for DX - nothing further than the West Indies/S.America and east coast of USA - nil beyond eastern Med.

M0PTS- YAESU FT 2000, COMET H422 V DIPOLE. ONCE AGAIN REALLY ENJOYED THE CONTEST. SOME GREAT CONTACTS ON 15MTRS. SD LOGGER WAS A JOY TO USE. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE STATIONS THAT PARTICIPATED.

M0REG/P- Icom IC-718, 40m horizontal dipole and 20m vertical dipole.
My first big competition with a great bunch of lads. Used SDI and found it very helpful

M0SFR- The ANT was a 40m dipole end-fed through the low power EndFedz matchbox. 10m AGL.

M0TEF- It was nice to get a few hours on the bands to make some contacts and give away some points. Well done to all the stations activating islands around the world. Thanks to F4ARU for support in developing the station.

M1ADX- Really enjoyed myself. Many huge signals splattering somewhat and also not listening. Other more interesting quieter signals which needed more skill.

M1CHF- First time IOTA entry

M1KTA- Had some fun with a new antenna and at 3am was out pruning things for 80m. Need better preparation next time.

M2W- Great Contest

M3ENF- Due to drastic change in station my score is nowhere near that of the last time I did it, but I'm working on it! Nice to hear many stations, couldn't get back to all but still lots of fun.

M3I- K3, KPA500, SteppIR beam, Win-Test, MicroHam mk2, CW only,
Unassisted, High power. Condx were a bit up and down with some deep fading especially during serial exchange and the last digit! Had quite a bit of DQRM but worked through it. Enjoyable as ever and one of my favorite contests. Ken..G0ORH / M3i

M4W- We had a great time with lovely WX and with most of the equipment being new, we had a number of teething problems.

M9C- Enjoyable not taken very serious but worked some nice stations. Bands in ok shape, managed to network n1mm for the first time pleased with results

M9R- TS690SAT TL922
TH11 HF 40m slopers, 80m Carolina windom sloper
Felt more comfortable using SD this year. Plagued with
mic problems at the start so was slow getting going
Thanks to Paul a last minute problem was sorted out by
exchange of e-mails. I probably ought to have restricted
myself to the 12 hour section

MI5JYK- icom 703 set on 5 watts, inverted v dipoles 80/40/20m wire gp 15m wire jpole 10m. Conditions not great and it seemed more like a prefix contest at times than islands on the air which is a shame. That said, roll on the 2012 contest.

MM/DL5SE- very bad condx - but a nice contest like every year!

MM/OK4MM- EU-008 GIGHA Island, RIG:K2/100W, Inverted L,Battery operation from tent, nice contest, terrible WX...

MM0TAI- Great contest as usual, some great dx on the bands.
See you all again next year

MM0TFU/P- FT-847, Dipole H-422. Weather was great on Saturday but by Sunday morning it was wet and windy. Good fun as usual, and thanks to all for the QSOs. See you again next year.

MM0XXW- Wonderful contest, gets more enjoyable year on year.
As a low power station I have to add that I really appreciate the time and patience shown by all stations when exchanging details in, sometimes, difficult circumstances. See you all in 2012!

MM3N- Kenwood TS-590S, HF 3 ele tribander. LF Dipoles. One of my favourite contests made more enjoyable by the SD Software from Paul EI5DI

MM3T- A DXPedition to Bute in all but entry category. Elecraft K2. 80m inv L, 40m monopole, 20 vdipole all over the salt
water at high tide. Sat wx sunny and calm, Sun wx wet and windy.

MW1MDH- Was a little under the weather, didn't do as well as last year. But still had a pretty good run at it..Bands were a heck of a mess early on (struggled to work anyone for the first 90 mins or so) but took a break, and it all seemed to pick up..Still...not a bad effort! :) Best DX: BD7IXG..

Running: Icom IC-7400, 100w, MFJ ATU, Heil ProSet headset
Logged with CT (DOS) on 486 Laptop!

MX0WCB- Yaesu FT-450. Diamond wrapped dipole. First go at an IOTA contest. Learnt lots which is the general idea.

N0AX- Id like to thank the staff of the Emerald Island City Parks and Recreation Dept for allowing me to set up next to their admin building and using the ac power all day - I had a great time and hope they came through hurricane Irene without too much damage. My equipment was an IC-7000 and a Bravo-7K vertical from N6BT.

N1MD- Long time since I have been in this contest. Using N1MM now as my contest logger and am very happy with it. Works nicely with my Flex-3000.

N2US/3- FT857D, Hustler mobile resonators on 50 inch mast on car roof

N4A- Conditions very strange on 20 meters at opening. Had a loud buzzing noise, like a local noise, but was reported by other stations at a distance up and down coast in NA067. Went away finally last few hours at end of contest. As usual, a fight with heat exhaustion, bug bites, sand in the burger, and flakey winds, but well do it again next year. Ferry ride out to Core Banks from Davis, NC is purely awesome and a real delight. Great fun had by all.

N4PN- THANKS TO RSGB FOR ANOTHER FUN CONTEST...LIKE HAVING THE
CHOICE OF 12 OR 24 HOURS..

N8AGU- Great bunch of Islands on this year. Cheers!

N9BX- Wonderful Contest, Nice to pick up some New IOTAs
Great Program, and I will use it in all upcoming Contests

NG7Z- Just a couple of hours looking for new IOTAs

OE2LRO- tnks for my FIRST Contest

OE2VEL- not enough time for a full time effort, but still could break the 12hour ASSISTED record. Cu agn next year

OE3CHC- Rig: IC-7400, AL-811H (max. 400W), G5RV 40-10 at 12m
Nice contacts to new NA-Islands! Tnx to all activations!
73 de Chris, OE3CHC

OE6HLF- Testing my new 40m hor. Delta Loop with a CG 3000 at the feeding point. For 80 also Loop hor. and for 15 an Extended DZepp. 20 m was the best band here i used the 40m Loop.

OG5A- Luckily this was not a serious attempt at all since the old contest enemy aurora

OG6N- What fun chasing the islands and enjoying occasional pileups. My best effort ever. It was nice to break 4M.

OH/G4FSU- Thanks to all for the QSOs.

OH1TD- Many thanks to all those stations I had the pleasure to contact with! SRI that I dinīt have time enough to contact all those calling me. Next year! 73 Tony/oh1td

OK2BYW- I like the IOTA CONTEST. So at least some QSOs for joy.

OK2MBP- Tnx for nice contest 73GL!

OK2QX- Very good contest! Sorry, that on the last time many stations give not own call after QSO, also is not so good, if as the last word in CQ relation is TEST and not call. Own call on the end of each QSO is correct for the other heard stations! RIG K3, 54 m LW + 3el tribander (to W or NE, three time handly rotated - HI).

OK2SWD- GOOD CONTEST. SEE YOU AGAIN FRIENDS.

OK4AS- Tnx for fb contest with QRP FT-817 (5W)

OK5SWL- GOOD CONTEST. SEE YOU AGAIN FRIENDS.

ON6LY- just had a little time sunday noon

ON7CC- fb contest for qrp

OP4K- Despite poor propagation a great contest

OY1CT- Thanks for all those who called me during the contest. Conditons on Saturday were very poor. Sunday morning 15 and 10m did open to EU and UK with a nice short skip opening. Lots of fun.

OZ/DF2SD- A great event as usual. Hope to see you next year from an other IOTA.

OZ/DG5LAC- condx better than last year, but not so much time. It was a family trip.

OZ/PA1TT/P- It was a nice time again from Romo Island. Only Murphy visited me and I lost 2 times my 20m GP. The first time the mast broke down because heavy (no strom) winds and 2e time a coax conector had a bad connection, happens never to the lower one hihi. I was happy to have some spare equipment with me, also the OZ/ (stroke) call and then according CEPT /P (stroke Portable) made it not easy for some people.
Calling some IOTA stations was sometimes very hard with 100w and verticals. Also it was hard to find clear place to call CQ with some splattering Big Guns

OZ1IKY- Just participated for giving points to some people. A lot of fun, that an OZ can draw a pile-up! (EU-29) ((8 hours of fun!)) Setup was Elecraft K3, 4 element 5 bander Mosley, DANAMPS amplifier

OZ5EDR- FT1000D
Dipole
20m very open
I have always used SDI for this contest. FB PGM

This contest is a great opportunity to visit the small islands and to enjoy the low noise environment.

OZ7VEA- TS570, Single Quad Loop 20 m (one element) and FD3 for 40m
Bornholm may be reached by boat or air only. Im not resident.
All equipment was taken by me on the island.

P29CW- For P29CW 15 and 20M were good. 40 and 80M were very poor due to extremely high QRN and hash noise levels all weekend, I think due to the poor weather in the Papua New Guinea mountains. Gear: Yaesu FT897D, MicroHam MicroKeyer II, HLA300 Plus linear, Manson 60A supply. Antennas: inverted vee antennas for 15, 20 and 40M. Inverted L for 80M

PA/ON6CQ- HAVE HAD A GREAT TIME IN THE CONTEST. HAPPY WITH REACHing 1k QSOS! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR. RON - ON6CQ

PD0PMS- Pleased to hear and work the activity this year.

PD5JFK- It was a lot of fun, this first time. Hope to do it again!

PE1LTY- Many thanks for the nice contest. My equipment: ICOM 7400 - 100 W. Antenna: AV620 vertical by HighGain. 73 Henny

PE1OLM- Was no time for full contest mode so that is reason for checklog. Hope next year to do full contest

PE2K- A very nice contest again. And worked some new IOTA islands too. Stationinfo at www.pe2k.nl 5Watt-dipole, QSL via buro. 73, Adriaan PE2K

PG1R- Nice contest! Due to a unexpected problem with the antenna tuning too little QSOs on 10 and 15M. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the contest very much.

PI4KGL- Check-log by the PI4KGL/PA6V contest group, this was a contest training to involve some new (YL)operators in our contest group

PJ4LS- My first contest with HP (TL-922), from home QTH. Conditions on low bands very poor, nothing heard on 80 mtrs during the night hours. Had to solve some RF problems in the shack during this contest. Not able to work with the keyboard, so switched to my favorite Vibro Deluxe paddle. I have to solve this problem for the next contest. Have to get
more familiar with Wintest as well, hi. No excuse! Thanks to all the stations who called me and give me a mult. See you in the next contest. 73, Hans

PP5XX- First time operating IOTA Contest. Very dificult to hear anything on saturday night and sunday morning because a terribel QRN. To much static rain in our area. Many tnx to Mr Luciano PT7WA, IOTA Checker for inviting me to take part in this nice party.

Thank you to PY5IP PY5KD for the help on ZW5B settings.

Thank you to all island expedition for the hard effort on ativating the IOTAS.

Thank you to Atilano PY5EG for let me use his SUPER ZW5B station.

RU3FN- Thank you for the contest

RU4SS- I had to stop operation on saturday because of a thunderstorm :( Hope to make more serious result next year!

RV2FW/1- It was first time LOW power operation from Kotlin isl. EU-133. Not so bad for portable from my car with GP=10.6m(1/2 40M, 5/8 20M) and dipole ant for 80M (TNX Oleg UA1CEI). WX was terrible- thunder storm and much QRN on the bands. Thanks to all calling and answer me. Especialy tnx FM5CD for good ears, DV1/JO7KNB for calling me and multiplier. See you on the bands. 73, Victor RV2FW/1

RV3D- This contest was hard work.

RW3VA- It's my first RSGB IOTA Contest. Not so bad! 73!

RZ3DOT- Started out with no plan. Just wanted to operate.Tnx, 73!

S51DX- I use fishing rod vertical for 40m. Power was 200 W with IC-775DSP.

S57L- After 2 years of contest as IOTA dxpedition we returned this year to a land entry. The goal was to outscore our 2008 result. Conditions were good, many stations active and even weather cooperated for a change. Improvised multiplier station gave us RFI problems but also many multipliers, and just 2 operators managed to set the new best score. We have some serious work for next year... Work you again soon.

S57S- Don't have much time, but gave out some points.

SA1A- What a contest! I just love it though I didnīt have energy for doing all 24 hours, guess I ended up with 17 on the air. Nice getting IJ7A (EU-073, now I only need three more to get all EU-IOTA:s!) See you next year for sure!

SA3BGM- Thanks every one who worked me. I was QRP and its not very easy to hear me (smile). Radio Icom IC-703 and G5rv antenna. Hope to see you next year on IOTA-Contest or anywhere else on the air. Special thanks to YO3CZW (Nice to hear your voice = always result in a QSO) and SN3S who was one of my first contacts after I got my licence in 2009. 73 de SA3BGM / Tony.

SK0HS/5- Operated from Vassaro, an island belonging to the Scout and Guide district of Stockholm.

SM/DL4JWU- I spent my holiday in Sweden (JO67UC) but same procedure as every year. Had much fun in the contest

SM7CIL- SD 15.47 worked just fine. My QTH is OLAND, part of KALMAR County group

SM7I- Nice contest. Cuagn next time

SP2LNW- Due to file corruption I lost 291 QSOs - sorry, only checklog, 73 Slaw sp2lnw

SP3GTS- IC-765+SB-220M, ANT:TRIBANDER 3EL YAGI, GP-7DX. Very nice contest during summer time. See you next year.

SP6LV- Since 1957 sp2lv, from 1997 sp6lv, age 79.

SP6RYD/P- IC-706MKII, No counterpoise GP; 20m band L/4 GP; 2x19.5m
My first on field contest; lack of accu power :-)

VA7DZ- BANDS WERE NOT GREAT, LOTS OF GOOD OPS

VC1Z- Lots of preparation, planning and effort by all. A fun and educational event. Looking forward to next year!

VE1AL- A rotor indicator that didn't indicate, a wonky memory keyer and conditions that bordered on the horrible made this weekend a minor chore. But the weather was terrible also and that kept me in the chair for 15 of the 24 hours. IOTA is always fun, even if this year I worked no new islands and only one I do not yet have confirmed.

VE3FH- Prop still sucks!!

VE3IQ- Check log . Polar path from VE3 never opened to Japan and China islands.

VE3UTT- Always a fun contest. My antenna was frozen pointing just South of ZD8. Great work by all you travel to those great Island locations - many thanks for making things so interesting.

VE3VHB- Too bad that the advertised ops in the Far East didn't
show up until the last half-hour of the contest! Managed three new ones anyway. Maybe better prop next year!

VE3ZZ/VY2- Elecraft K3 Alpha 78A, 6-el monobanders on 20 and 15; 3-el monobander on 40. Great contest as always despite poorer cx. My favourite contest of the year. Mni tnx to the organizers.

VE7NA- We had a lot of fun despite the bands being very poor in this contest. We usually run the Special Event Station for our city's Bathtub Race the weekend your contest is on. thanks for moving it to last Saturday of July. We operated an oldie but goodie FT-101ZD MKII for this contest. 73 Gerry VE7BGP

VE7RSV/P- Conditions were pretty poor to my location for most of the contest, could not make any contacts for hours on 20 and the higher bands were not open to me at all, still had a blast though even with the low score.

VK3TDX- Nice participation. Thanks to all for the QSOs.

VO1TA- Always enjoy the IOTA contest. Nice to be on the receiving end of some major pileups. Operated off and on between coats of stain on our deck. Thanks to the organizers for putting on the event.

VU2RMS- The band conditions were extremely poor as observed in VU2, wonder how it was elsewhere!

W1ASB/P- TRCV IC-7000, 20 m vertical G5RV. SD great program for contesting

W1BO- Jumped in while I was testing out the new amplifier in the station and had a blast, only had about an hour to work it and was working amplifier problems along the way but great contest and will be participating next year with a much higher effort - was fun getting to test both SSB and CW during the same contest.

W1END- Great contest but only had a few hours to operate. Thanks to all. Rig was FTdx5000 (100w) and Butternut HF6V vertical.

W1T- Thacher is a two lighthouse island and we operated primarily from a longwire off the South Tower and some from an R4 Vertical.

W1WBB- Part-time effort to activate my IOTA...unable to participate during first 7+ hours of contest. Propagation conditions did not seem particularly good...good signals to Eu essential in this contest. Look forward to next year with improved directional antenna...using only wires here now -- primary antenna is 88 ft all-band doublet up at 45 ft. Log uploaded to LoTW. 73, Bill W1WBB

W2DEN- Had a GREAT time. Wanted to add to my IOTA list and perhaps add a new DXCC and accomplished both. Would have liked to have seen some ops slow down below 50 wpm when asked to repeat the NR, seems to be part of contesting, go fast, repeat many times, never ever slow down! I do thank those who did take the time to make sure I got it right..
See you all next year! DenS

W3LL- A fun contest with lots of activity.

W4BQF- Really enjoyable contest! Also great to have the election of 12 hour or 24 hours in the contest!! Thanks for putting this on. 73, Tom - W4BQF

W4T- Thanks to all for the QSOs. Everyone had a very good time with this expedition. We hope that others will be encouraged by this group of more mature gentlemen from QCWA Chapter 119 to go out and do something for themselves. It is very rewarding. Many thanks, again, from the W4T 2011 Expedition Team to Tangier Island. 73, Vic, W4VIC

W6UX/P- All battery power because no generators allowed on island. K3 running 50W CW, 75W SSB into PAR Electronics vertical dipoles on 12m SpiderPole masts. 40 MPH blew our tents, but masts were fine. Fun to work the pileups from NA-144. QSL via K6GEP direct or buro.

WD5IYT- Elecraft K1
44-foot doublet at 30 feet
Tough going with only 5 Watts but still a good time!

WP3GW- Conditions wer a little ruff during the start, has to wait until after 1800UTC for the bands to open, but it has been the IOTA contest for the most QSOs ever! Even got to work Lord Howe Island, a new one for me.

YO2IS- Pleased to run again the IOTA test, thanks for your invitation. Had fun and despite some slower ops traffic improved my 2010 score and reached my goal of 450 Kpts.
Hope that someday a participation electronic award will be downloadable for top scores. Used again the faithful lilliput setup, IC7000 100W, HM trap GP 41m LW.73 Szigy.
